Ambrosia Maple Paddle Board Style Serving Trays

We make these beautiful serving trays from Ambrosia Maple, but we can also make them from Rustic Hard Maple, Rustic Hickory, Soft Curly Maple or Black Walnut. (Those will be in the Serving Trays collection page.)

The boards here are made edge grain, so the faces are glued together, making for a stronger surface. All our edge grain boards have a juice groove.

There is a lot of care and attention to detail that goes in to each and every board, starting with board selection, alignment, grain orientation, etc. We appreciate figure in lumber, and we do our best to make sure that each of our serving trays stands out. You'll love our pieces!

We sand our boards at 80, 100, 120, 150, 180 and 220 grits, never skipping a step. And we water pop our boards before our final sanding. Also, we apply Walrus Oil to our boards after the final sanding, let them rest overnight, wipe off any excess oil and then seal with Walrus Wax.
