Hard Ambrosia Maple Cutting Board Blanks

The Ambrosia Beetle is an insect that bores into trees and leaves behind a fungus which gives the Ambrosia Maple its unique appearance. Ambrosia Maple is not a distinct species of Maple, as is the case with Curly Maple or Spalted Maple.

The Ambrosia Beetle prefers softer species of wood, which is why the Ambrosia figure is most commonly found in the Soft Maple trees. Hence, Hard Ambrosia Maple is much harder to come by, and that is exactly what we have here.

Our cutting board blanks are FAS grade, and they have all been milled S4S. Please make sure you select the appropriate sizes and quantities from the drop-down options.

If you are picking up locally, you are welcome to get as few or as many as you would like. If, however, you need your lumber shipped, our minimum order for cutting board blanks is 12 pieces. You can get 12 of a kind, or mix and match to get whatever combination you like.
