Patagonian Rosewood Lumber
Patagonian Rosewood, native to South America, is a dense and durable hardwood prized for its deep reddish-brown to purplish tones, often with dark streaks and subtle figuring. Also known as Curupay or Cebil, it has a fine to medium texture and typically straight grain, though some pieces may display interlocking patterns. Its hardness can make it challenging to work, but it sands and polishes to a smooth, glossy finish that highlights its striking color and grain.
Commonly used for flooring, furniture, cabinetry, knife handles, pool cues, and decorative items, Patagonian Rosewood is valued for its strength, wear resistance, and rich, luxurious appearance.
